We couldn’t be the office we are without our staff. They are always helping patients by giving them the information they need to make the right decision. Our staff will discuss all of your options and what to expect. They are here to answer your questions and address your concerns. It is their goal to give you a satisfying experience every time you walk through our doors. Quite simply, they are great at what they do!
Our staff has taken the steps to prepare you for the first appointment by providing a full spectrum of the services we offer and the option to complete our new patient form prior to your visit. Our goal is to cover everything you need with a full and efficient assessment, but without waiting to see the doctor.
Dr. Joe Horst
Dr. Joe Horst received his dental training at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Throughout his training, he was an active participant in the school’s student chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry, including serving as the vice president. During his senior year he was awarded the Academy of General Dentistry University of Minnesota Senior Leaders Award for “…having exhibited the greatest leadership, interest, knowledge, and proficiency in the field of general dentistry…”
Throughout his career, Dr. Horst has actively worked to stay current in dentistry’s best practices by attending continuing education courses and increasing his skillset. His goal is to provide excellent and lasting dental care.
Dr. Horst and his wife, Terra, met in Idaho during their undergraduate degrees. Along the way, they have been joined by three strong, beautiful and energetic girls, Cambria, Ava and Noa. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors biking, hiking and exploring.
In his free time Dr. Horst loves endurance sports and has completed “Grandma’s Marathon” in Duluth as well as “Le Grand Du Nord” a 100 mile gravel bike race in Grand Marais. He particularly loves all things mountain and gravel biking. You will also find him spending time with his family, woodworking, fly fishing and trying to catch the latest Premier League soccer match.
Dr. Horst is passionate about the dental care he provides. He cares deeply about providing high quality and compassionate care. He looks forward to meeting you and taking care of your dental needs!
